Privacy Policy — Phantom Chat

1. Data we collect

• Email address — for account creation and sign-in only
• Username — to find and message other users
• Device ID — a random ID generated on install, used to bind your account to one device
• Push notification token — to deliver message alerts to your device

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, contacts, or browsing history. We do not run any analytics or advertising tools.

3. How your messages are protected

All messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device before being sent. We store only encrypted ciphertext. We cannot read your messages.

4. How messages are deleted

All conversations and messages are automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours. If both users end a chat early, all messages, media, and encryption keys are permanently deleted immediately.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase (supabase.com) — database and file storage. Only encrypted data is stored.
• Expo (expo.dev) — push notification delivery.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
